There is no such thing as a stupid question For those that are only used as blends, the calculation would be done as if it was a single strand stitch. It can be done as I listed above or EVERY color be given it's own listing.

I respectfully request that the floss usage chart be updated to clearly show ALL colors of a blend. It should show in the chart of DMC 504 + DMC 3747. If the same color is used alone and with a blend (and is the first of the two colors), it will be listed twice.įor example - a blend of DMC 504 and DMC 3747 shows as DMC 504 and there is NO listing of DMC 3747 (as if the color is not used). If there are colors that are used ONLY in blends, the chart lists the first color of the blend with no notice that it is a blend. I finally realized that all the colors are there, they are just not listed as such. It still seemed to be there so I did some checking. I would really like to have a complete and accurate usage chart which may require a formula to adjust for blends. Also, even if that cannot be accomplished, the floss usage of a blended color is not showing all the colors that are in my pattern is there a way to correct that? Other colors in that wing, including the backstitch, are listed. I verified using highlight that they are all used and all used in the same basic area of the pattern (dragon wing). However, 4 colors (used in blends) are not listed at all. This pattern has separate symbols/listings for several colors because they are used alone and in various blended combinations.
